Critics are ripping a courtroom sketch of Ivanka Trump, who testified in her father’s civil fraud trial earlier this week after she was dismissed as a defendant earlier this fall by an appeals court.
“A professional artist, Jane Rosenberg, was paid to capture key moments and figures in court as cameras were banned,” Resist the Mainstream noted in a Thursday report. “Ivanka, 41, well-known for her beauty and poise, was depicted as a gaunt Cruella-de-Villain character.”
Needless to say, the drawing was ripped on social media.
“This sketch artist should be charged with a crime!” one X user wrote.
“I never would have guessed that’s supposed to be Ivanka,” said another.
“Dude had ONE job!” another added.
Here is a smattering of additional responses:

“She is a BEAUTY with a lot of class however EVIL people look through EVIL eyes so the world is UGLY to them.”
“Damn what did Ivanka Trump do to that court sketch artist cause this feels like a grudge.”
“Please take away the artist’s crayons!”
“Doesn’t look like Ivanka at all. She is a beautiful runway model, whether walking, standing, or sitting. Disgusting sketch. Reveals the insanity of this sham trial!”

Late last month, Ivanka Trump’s attorneys filed a motion to have a subpoena for her testimony quashed in New York, but Judge Arthur Engoron denied it and ordered that she appear before his court as he oversees former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial.
After an appeals court dismissed Ivanka Trump as a defendant, her lawyer argued that she should not be compelled to appear in court, CNN reported.
The judge added that Ivanka Trump was required to submit an affidavit stating that she no longer resides or works in the state. Because “only she can tell us that,” and “it’s too late to do that now,” Engoron said.
As expected, Engoron refused to accept a deposition from Ivanka Trump that had been taken in Florida after he made his initial ruling. Engoron stated, “We want her here in person,” indicating his preference for live testimony.
Ivanka Trump’s legal team has accused New York Attorney General Letitia James of seeking her testimony for the sake of creating a media spectacle, arguing that the court lacks jurisdiction over Ivanka Trump because she has not lived or worked in the state of New York since 2017.
Kise called the subpoena “continued harassment of President Trump’s children.”
Her father, meanwhile, ignored a gag order and blew up at Engoron after compelling her to testify in a case New York Attorney General Letitia James filed after she campaigned on a platform to ‘get’ the former president. Judge Arthur Engoron is overseeing the trial.

“My daughter, Ivanka, was released from this Fake Letitia James case by the Court of Appeals, but this Trump Hating, Unhinged Judge, who ruled me guilty before this Witch Hunt Trial even started, couldn’t care less about the fact that he was overturned,” Trump raged on his Truth Social platform.
“I also won on Appeal on Statute of Limitations, but he refuses to accept their decision. I truly believe he is CRAZY, but certainly, at a minimum, CRAZED in his hatred of me,” he continued.
“This case should have never started, but now must be dismissed. Financial Statements were LOW, NOT HIGH, had a 100% Disclaimer Clause, Banks were fully paid, ‘on time, on schedule,’ with never even a minor default, there was NO VICTIM, EXCEPT ME,” the former president added.
“Any other Judge in the Country would have thrown this case out on day one. He’s an out of control ‘Nut Job,’ who fined me $10,000 over a ridiculous Gag Order so that the publicity for the day would take over from the fact that Racist James and the Judge’s Star Witness admitted LYING TO CONGRESS on the stand – CASE OVER!” he wrote.
