Another day and another friend of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been found dead of an apparent suicide.

Billionaire financier Thomas H. Lee was found with a single gunshot wound to the head and a Smith & Wesson revolver near him in his office bathroom, The New York Post reported.

The 78-year-old philanthropist and Clinton pal was discovered by a female assistant on the floor of the bathroom in his family office at the Fifth Avenue headquarters of his eponymous financial firm shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday, sources said.

The assistant went to look for her boss — a married dad of five who pioneered the leveraged-buyout industry — because he hadn’t been heard from, sources said.

First-responders found Lee, also a grandfather of two, lying on his side with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, sources said.

Life-saving efforts at the scene were unsuccessful, and Lee was pronounced dead at 11:26 a.m., sources said.

“He was regarded as having one of the most admired houses in the Hamptons – Bill and Hillary Clinton were frequent guests, they would regularly stay there,’’ a source said to The Post.

The Clintons reportedly stayed there in 2008 after she was defeated in the Democrat presidential primary by former President Obama.

It comes after news of another Clinton ally’s death being ruled a suicide.

The death of a former aide to President Bill Clinton, who had connections to Jeffrey Epstein, has been officially declared a suicide, despite no weapon being found near the body.

Mark Middleton, aged 59, worked at the Clinton White House in the 1990s and was found dead on Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas on May 2, 2022, according to a report by the Daily Mail. After almost a year, a police report obtained by the outlet this week revealed that Middleton was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest and an extension cord around his neck, tied to a tree.

“I could see the male was obviously deceased,” noted Deputy Jeremy Lawson of the Perry County Sheriff’s Department following his arrival on the scene, The Post noted.

It’s worth noting that Lawson’s account mentions that although officers found a gun case and three boxes of buckshot in Middleton’s BMW SUV, there was no weapon seen anywhere around the body.

Although Middleton worked for his family’s HVAC business in the years leading up to his death, he had previously held a prestigious position as a special advisor to Clinton and assistant to the Chief of Staff, Thomas F. “Mack” McLarty.

Middleton gained notoriety for reportedly signing in Jeffrey Epstein to the White House on seven of the 17 times that he visited the residence. Additionally, he was reported to have flown on Epstein’s infamous “Lolita Express” private jet.

Middleton left the White House in 1995, and a year later, the Los Angeles Times reported that his executive access was limited after an investigation found that he had abused his connections in an attempt to become an “international dealmaker.”

After concerns were raised by Middleton’s family, including his wife and two young adult daughters, a judge has released the official report, while also keeping the gory photos and videos of the scene under seal.

In June 2022, the Arkansas Times reported that Circuit Judge Alice Gray had decided that the visual content would remain sealed, while the report would be accessible through the Freedom of Information Act.

In the aftermath of Middleton’s death, some internet conspiracy theorists have attempted to link him to the “Clinton Body Count,” a conspiracy theory that alleges Bill and Hillary Clinton are responsible for the deaths of many of their political opponents, The Post added.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson made headlines recently when he discussed the death of Epstein, a financier, who reportedly committed suicide on Aug. 9, 2019, while being held in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

During an in-depth review on his program, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the host raised some important points about Epstein and called on the new GOP majority in the U.S. House to open an investigation into Epstein’s death.

“It’s all very strange and the story gets much stranger once you start pressing a little bit. We’ve pressed pretty hard for the last few days on this question, not because we have any special affection for Jeffrey Epstein. We’ve pressed because you don’t want to live in a country where it’s possible to murder people in federal lockup, cover up the killings, and then get away with them. That’s scary,” Carlson said.

“That should not be allowed in this or any other civilized place, but in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, it appears that it was allowed and on one level, you can see why it was. This is one of those crimes that have no natural constituency pushing to solve it,” he added.

At the end of his segment, Carlson called on the Department of Justice to investigate.
